Now that's an entrance hall! Very elaborate house to have been built down in the 30's when the fashionable east side residential neighborhood was migrating north at this time.
ReplyDeleteFound out the building is still extant, located on East 35th between Lexington and Park. Would like to know if the interiors have been relatively preserved after conversion to apartments. What a great entrance hall
ReplyDeleteThanks for adding the street view link. The blog keeps getting better and better.
