The Curtis House
The Charles B. Curtis residence designed by York & Sawyer c. 1900 on East 54th Street in New York City. Curtis was a lawyer who appears to have built this residence when he was in his early 70s. The home is no longer standing.
Standard issue---handsome, slightly dull, safe, well built. I don't think I could live very many days with that painting in the drawing room...Uh uh.
