1 Lexington Avenue designed by Herbert Lucas c. 1910 at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 21st Street in New York City.  The apartment house replaced the Henry W.     there are typically 4 duplex apartments per floor in this one. Very nice building though. I envy the top floor leaseholder.

    A really handsome apartment building, but one can't but feel a twinge foer the particularly graceful brownstone block it replaced

    i wanna know that too. I actually saved this image because of that shutter clustered beauty. I love real wood shutters for some reason
