540 Park Avenue

540 Park Avenue designed by William A. Boring c. 1908 on Park Avenue at East 61st Street. Boring was half the firm of Boring & Tilton, designers of Ellis Island among other notable NYC buildings. 540 Park Avenue was demolished in the 1960s and replaced with the Regency Hotel.

It just amazes me how short lived many of these structures were.
