A very happy after-life for this mansion. The University seems to maintian the building and grounds very well and the main floor is open to the public.

And what a pleasure it is to visit that main floor. Of course, much as I admire the University's stewardship of this building, they've also got some demolition blood on their hands (most notably John Russell Pope's Whiteholme across the street), and built that inexcusable cinder block and yellow brick building in the grounds of Vinland, affecting the nationally important cliff walk landscape. But, they do seem to be doing better in recent years...
