I like the garden front better with the awnings.
This house is like Pembroke---I don't particular like it, but nevertheless, I find it really kinda marvelous anyway.
It also clearly served as inspiration for Mme. C.J. Walker's 'Villa Lewaro' in Irvington, built a few years later:

i believe that the garage is still there, in a modified form as part of the green's farm office park. it is located just of of RT 95 at roughly exit 18 in conn. one of the expert linkers and map searchers could nail that one down pretty quickly
