'Laurel Court', the Peter G. Thomson estate designed by James Gamble Rogers between 1902-1907 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thomson was the founder of The Champion Coated Paper Co. James Gamble Rogers designed three very handsome buildings in Memphis. The jewel now known as the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art (original building) shares some similarities with this house. See also the beautifully maintained Harkness house in Manhattan.
