Has anyone been to the Corcoran Gallery in Washington DC to see the Salon Dore room and the art from Clark's Fifth Avenue residence?

Anon -yes, often. NOt sure what they'll do with the room as they're selling the building. There is a book on the room printed by the Corcoran that is worth checking out, I own a copy.

That is a graceful curving stone staircase. How sad that this was demolished.
