 'Mortemar', the Richard Mortimer estate designed by Hunt & Hunt between 1890-1900 in Tuxedo Park, New York.  Click HERE for more on 'Mortemar' which has since been demolished.

That first picture is very 'Dracula's Castle', isn't it?

I think the half timbering works extremely well in this relatively low mountainous location. The forecourt design is uber bavarian and very appealing but the rear facade lost its way, great floor plan though
